Doug has worked in a global role for one of the UK’s largest employers – firstly in sales, then in their sustainability practice before moving to lead change management and employee engagement. This solid foundations has led to his ability to unpick corporate work practices and reconstruct them to make them more effective, productive and enjoyable through smarter, more collaborative. Through his global speaking and writing exposure, Doug is now recognised by Huffington Post as the UK’s top expert on social HR.
Doug is fascinated by people’s inherent creative abilities, and he works to make it easier for them to unleash their creativity, and to bring the best of themselves to work. Connecting people and establishing a sense of community is a vital part of his work. Unlocking the knowledge in a workforce, and encourage them to do things differently is one of the hallmark of Doug’s training programmes.
In his spare time he likes to spend time with his family, walk, paint, play guitar, and ride his mountain bike.
